Maysonbook Friends & Family Trees are designed and made in Ireland. They also happen to be one of our favourite gift ideas in the gallery shop. Each tree comes with an ink pad and pen so you can add your fingerprint and sign your name. Great for new families, old families and friend-families. We love the idea. There's a choice of ash, oak or hawthorn, and they are all very beautiful indeed.

Each design comes in either small (8" x 10" inches - €35) or large (12" x 10" inches - €45).

Book of the Week #11

This week's book of the week is The Cow Book by John Connell; an account of an Irish emigrant's return home to the family farm in Longford. While we haven't yet read it ourselves, we've heard such great things that it simply couldn't wait. And, even though you're strongly advised to never judge a book by its cover, check out that lovely cow. It's a 10 from us.

"The book began out of a calving season working alongside my father in a wet winter of 2016. The book, I quickly began to realise, was not just the story of my life but the story of farming families around the country. The dramas, the births and deaths were shared experiences with families everywhere."
