Book of the Week #26
This week's Book of the Week is Seamus Heaney 100 Poems. Publishers Faber & Faber released the anthology in June to coincide with the opening of the major new exhibition in Bank of Ireland Cultural and Heritage Centre at College Green entitled Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again.
Seamus Heaney 100 Poems is a collection of the late Nobel Laureate's best-known and most celebrated poems as well as some potential new favourites. "Choosing the poems for this book was a very special process for our family, and a poignant one. Reading my father's 12 original volumes - from Death of a Naturalist to Human Chain - and selecting our favourites gave us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the work again, hear his voice and remember moments from our shared past." - Catherine Heaney
See you next week!
