What? Another competition?!

What? Another competition?!

But first things first...

Last week we ran a Christmas competition giving you the chance to win everything under this tree and we got such an amazing response. It was lovely to hear that so many of you were willing to share the prize; you're better people than we are. Unfortunately there could only be one winner...

And that winner is...

Lynda Kiernan

Congratulations Lynda!

The response to the competition was so fantastic that we decided you deserve one more chance to win something nice, though our next prize is a little different.

Recently Nigella Lawson caused quite a stir when she wore a dressing gown with a beautiful Venice map design while filming her latest series: Nigella : At My Table on BBC2. Here it is, effortlessly modelled below by our colleague Louise who took to the steps of the Shaw Room staircase this morning to show it off like a pro. Viewers were so enamoured by Nigella's dressing gown that the company who produced it, One Thousand Stars, sold out very quickly.

...we have one to give away to one lucky person! All you have to do is tag a Christmas dinner host who deserves a special treat. The competition closes on Wednesday December 20th at midday. If you don't win the Venice dressing gown, but you'd like to buy something similar, you'll be happy to hear that we have many different designs in the exact same style to choose from in store. Winner announced in next week's blog post. Best of luck!

If you'd like to know what all the fuss is about then have a quick read of this article from the Yorkshire Post:

And don't forget!

There will be a reading of The Night Before Christmas and other stories in the gallery shop tomorrow, Saturday December 16th, between 11am-12pm which is sure to leave you feeling very Christmas-y indeed. We're really looking forward to it.
