Burne-Jones 'Laus Veneris' Silk Chiffon Scarf
This scarf from Fox & Chave features the painting 'Laus Veneris (In Praise of Venus)', (1873-78) by Edward Coley Burne-Jones (1833-1898). The painting, from the Laing Art Gallery's collection, was inspired by a poem of the same name by Algernon Charles Swinburne. Burne-Jones was a key figure in the Pre-Raphaelite art movement and is also well known for his design work as part of the Arts and Crafts movement, alongside his friend William Morris.
