A Connemara Girl Canvas Print
A Connemara Girl Canvas Print
This pretty young peasant girl has gathered heather in her apron, and may be on her way to have her two goats milked. The rugged terrain on which she stands barefoot is an accurate portrayal of the Connemara landscape. Burke was born in Co. Galway and though he trained and worked as an artist in London and Brittany, he often turned for inspiration to the west of Ireland, painting its landscapes, animals and people.
National Gallery of Ireland Canvas Prints feel like having the real painting on your wall. Printed on Hahnemuhle Leonardo Canvas using ultra chrome HDR pigment inks, our canvas prints come rolled in a protective tube with the painting's information.
