Rembrandt to Matisse Publication

An accompanying book for the exhibition Rembrandt to Matisse — A Celebration of European Works on Paper with an essay by Niamh MacNally, Curator of the Prints and Drawing Study Room, and 77 full colour illustrations. In celebration of Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the National Gallery of Ireland will present over fifty of its finest works from the Prints and Drawings collection, by a host of European artists. Drawings, prints, watercolours, photographs and miniatures by Italian, Dutch, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Czech, Finnish, British and Irish artists from the fifteenth century to the present day will be shown.
