Eve Ray Turning Heads Red & Blue Earrings

For the Turning Heads exhibition, Maeve Barry of Eve Ray Designs has created two pieces exclusively for the National Gallery of Ireland, taking inspiration from the work showcased in the Turning Heads exhibition.

The earrings were created taking shapes and colours from Girl with the Red Hat by Johannes Vermeer. The earrings reflect the colours used in Vermeer's work, while pulling two abstract shapes which appear in the painting. The Minerva earrings are a take on the armour worn in the painting, while also mixing the combination of silver armour and gold. Each piece is available exclusively in the National Gallery Shop.
