The House Builders Art Print
The House Builders Art Print
Osborne studied at the Royal Hibernian Academy and later in Antwerp and Brittany. This sensitive portrayal of two children at play in an intimate domestic interior displays the artist's confidence in using the watercolour medium. He skilfully captures a fleeting glimpse of childhood with a delicacy of touch. The fluid, impressionistic brushstrokes are typical of his late style.
